Why did Senator Jim Whelan deny to PolitickerNJ.com Reporter Max Pizarro that he had selected Freeholder Alisa Cooper and County Sheriff’s Officer Cliff Sudler as his Assembly running mates only to recant his original story when confronted with a “Save the Date” postcard touting an “Important Announcement” by Cooper, Sudler and he next week paid for by funds from Whelan’s Senate account, asked Polistina for Senate consultant Chris Russell.
